There are lots of fun things happening around Calgary this month! Check them out:

Easter Seals Drop Zone || September 6th, 2017 || Dress up as your favorite superhero and climb down the side of a building in the name of courage and charity. Avenue Calgary writes, "more than 100 brave Calgarians face their fear of heights as they rappel down the 30-storey Sun Life Plaza in support of the Easter Seals, an organization that supports Albertans with disabilities and special needs by providing equipment, recreational and residential programs." Heritage Park Ghost Tours || September 13th - 18th || Do you love Ghost stories? Join Heritage Park on a walk through our haunted past. Here's the scoop: "the tours begin at the admission gate. Grab a hot chocolate or coffee before a guide takes you on a 90 minute tour of the park. You'll be led throughout the park hearing stories of paranormal encounters staff have had as well as some eerie historical tales. Canning & Preserving Classes: Pickles with Flair || September 20th || Remember when we recommended canning your fruits and veggies? Learn how in this great preserving class. Avenue Calgary writes, "Poppy Innovations offers a set of canning and preserving classes, which aim to encourage people to make healthier foods using seasonal ingredients. This class is particularly focused on preserving pickles and teaching the fundamentals of canning. La La Land In Concert || September 21st || If you loved the movie La La Land, featuring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, this event is for you!  "Watch the Academy Award-winning movie La La Land — a film about two aspiring artists who fall in love while trying to make it big in Los Angeles — as the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra performs the score live" (Avenue Calgary).
