Tucked away between Tuscany and Silver Springs lies the community of Scenic Acres.  This area holds true to its name perfectly with many scenic views throughout.  With a population of around 10,000, this community is a good size and has amenities to back its overall appeal.  Crowfoot Crossing is a large shopping area that has many well known stores such as SportCheck, Rona and Chapters.  For dining and entertainment, there is a Cineplex Odeon Theatre, Schanks Bar & Grill, The Keg, Joey's, Montana's and more. Homes for sale in Scenic Acres range in price, but can be had for just around $400,000.  Homestyles are almost entirely single-family dwellings with just a few multi-family homes to the southeast corner of the area.  There is good public transit in Scenic Acres with an LRT station housed along Crowchild Trail.  The community actually has a park and ride located on the north side with a bridge to the station in order to avoid oncoming traffic on Crowchild Trail.  To the south of the area is where you will be pleased with all the outdoor recreation space and Bowmont Park.  This park lies along the Bow River where residents spend their summers being active.  Other parks close by include Baker Park to the east of the Bow and Bowness Park to the south.  These two areas lie directly across from one another and are well known for family picnics, biking, rafting and more.
