Acadia Real Estate

The community of Acadia is a located in the city’s southeast quadrant of the city.  It is bordered  by Southland Drive SE and Heritage Drive SE on the north and south and Blackfoot Trail SE and McLeod Trail South on the east and west. Acadia was established in the early 1960’s, but is held in very high regard today because of its proximity to so many great amenities. McLeod Trail is one of the busiest streets in the city with many businesses such as night clubs, bars, restaurants and major retail shopping centers such as Chinook Centre.  Down the hill across Blackfoot Trail lies Deerfoot Meadows, a major shopping center that is home to some of the largest retailers.  Ikea, Best Buy, Sportchek, Michaels, Costco, the Brick, Superstore and more are featured in this large shopping area. Newly built Lambourghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Porsche and Rolls-Royce  dealerships are also located on Heritage Drive SE.  The community is also home to one of the largest high schools in the city, Lord Beaverbrook. There are some parks, playgrounds, recreation centers, and green space for residents to enjoy.
This community is near to two major malls, South Centre and Chinook Centre. Chinook Mall is Calgary's largest and is ranked as the country’s 8th largest mall.  Houses for sale in Acadia have the convenience of an urban life with a great suburban feel.  Only 15 minutes from downtown, Acadia is a neighbourhood that simply has it all!

Homes for sale in Acadia range in price, but mostly consists of older medium sized to large executive properties.
