Halloween may be Monday, but many people will be celebrating this weekend! If you are one of those people, here are some fun Halloween Party ideas to complete your gathering:
1). Make the theme “Rhymes For No Reason” where people partner up to dress as two words that rhyme together, such as Butcher and Ashton Kutcher, or Fairy and Little House On The Prairie. The more creative the better! Plus, this gives guests lots of options for costumes they can DIY from items they already have. There is no need to drop $200 at Spirit Halloween!
2). If you’re not planning on catering the evening yourself, get everyone to bring a different themed charcuterie board! You can have the standard Crackers, Meat and Cheese, but also options such as a Candy Board, Cocktail Board, Popcorn Board, Chips Board, Appetizer Board, Cookie Board, and more. This lets guests bring something they love, and is easy for everyone to put together.
3). For an activity, play a rousing game of charades! This is easy to put together, and everyone always has fun with it. Divide the room into teams, so people who aren’t confident enough to get up in front of everyone don’t necessarily have to. Make it Halloween themed with words to act out such as Witch, Full Moon, Trick-Or-Treating, Werewolf and more.
4). Skip the expensive decorations at places such as Michaels and hit up your local thrift shops! They often have lots of little Halloween knick-knacks that make great table décor for a super low price. Another great place to find décor is the dollar store, which will have all the balloons, plates, streamers, cups and more that you need. Remember: sometimes less is more!
