Thanksgiving Pie Bake-Off || October 10 - 11 || The Calgary Farmers Market writes, "Fall is on its way and thoughts of turkey dinner are starting to tempt your taste buds. To help you select the pie you will serve this year, join us for our 7th Annual Thanksgiving Pie Bake-off from 10am-2pm on Thursday, October 10th and  Friday, October 11th." All you need to do is bring a cash donation for the Calgary food bank (recommendation is $5 per person), then you can sample all the pie you'd like and vote for your favorite! Frankenstein || October 23 || Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, widely considered the first science fiction novel, is coming to a stage near you.
