Similar to its neighbouring community of Bel-aire, Britannia is a luxurious estate neighbourhood that offers so many great outdoor attractions. The area is bordered by the Elbow River to the west and includes many wonderful outdoor recreational options. Real estate for sale in Britannia are almost entirely large executive homes that are uniquely constructed to resemble the characteristics of the area. This established urban neighbourhood in Calgary’s southwest can be accessed by the popular Elbow Drive SW that borders the area to its east. Attractions by Britannia include Chinook Centre, many great restaurants on Macleod Trail, an LRT station, and two major parks; Riverdale Park and Sandy Beach Park. The Calgary Golf and Country Club separates Britannia from Bel-aire and is shared by the two areas as well as other surrounding districts. Neighbouring communities include Elboya, Elbow Park, Windsor Park, Meadowlark Park, Mayfair and of course Bel-aire.

Homes for sale in Britannia range in price, but are pretty steady between $2 and $3 million. The area is consumed with large mature trees, parks and other luxury estates.
