Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) is also in close proximity to this community.  SAIT is one of the country's best trade and technology post-secondary institutes in the country.  The Jubilee Auditorium is located on the campus of SAIT and produces musical plays and events throughout the year.  Down the hill from SAIT is the neighbourhood of Kensington and Riley Park.  This park is awesome during the summer months and a great place to take photos.  10th Ave in Kensington is a walker's paradise with so many quaint shops, gelato and dine-in restaurants.  

Located directly south of available real estate in Crescent Heights is Prince's Island Park.  This area is the most popular park in the city.  There are so many festivals and events going on during the summer, but is also one of the best lounging areas for the frequent weekender.   Eau Claire Market resides next to Prince's Island and has a similar trendy, eclectic feel. Neighbouring areas include Bridgeland/Riverside to the east and Rosedale and Sunnyside to the west.  Public transportation is on Centre Street and 16th Ave.
