Calgary Public Library

The City of Calgary has been recognized time and time again as being a family friendly place to live. One the reasons so many families immigrate to Calgary, Alberta is because of the services available to help them thrive. Our tax dollars are put to good use as Calgary invests in programs and infrastructure to help this great city consistently remain one of the most livable cities in the world. Calgary public libraries are a massive part of this effort.

Calgary is dedicated to making its public libraries accessible, inclusive, engaging information hubs. Not only will you find books in these beautiful spaces, but you will also find access to internet and computers, knowledgeable and friendly staff who can help you get the resources you need, free workshops, events & learning opportunities, and so much more. Whether you're on the hunt for your next great read, or simply wanting a space to relax, one of Calgary's many public libraries is for you!

Most recently, Calgary launched its new Central Library, a $245 Million project that is winning architecture awards and is swiftly becoming the hottest place in the city to check out. It is a gorgeous addition to our already thriving public library scene!
