Prince's Island Park
Nestled between the banks of the Bow River and the northside of Calgary's downtown core is Prince's Island Park. This gorgeously landscaped park is the hosting grounds of many events, such as Shakespeare in the Park and a number of festivals. There are parks for people to play on, plenty of benches and picnic tables for studying and eating, a small pond used for ice skating, pathways for walking and biking that are cleared whenever snow arrives, and many Canadian Geese and ducks. Stretch out here and soak in some rays!
