WinSport Canada Olympic Park
The WinSport story is truly Calgarian through and through. They write, "it started for us in the early 1960s. The community gathered on our small hill to strap on planks of wood to learn how to ski and take advantage of the Rocky Mountains in our own backyard. " These passionate outdoors people went on to successfully bid for the Olympics, and in 1988 Calgary saw the likes of Eddie the Eagle and the triumphant Jamaican Bobsled team.
From then on, it has been the playground for world-class athletes and regular Calgarians alike. Recently rebranded as WinSport, Canada Olympic Park is a memorable feature on the city landscape, recognized and beloved by many. Check it out today!
