Calgary Fringe Festival || August 3rd - 11th || This festival is always wildly popular in YYC, so don't miss it!

Shakespeare By The Bow || August 1st - 19th || Check out the talented performers and a literary classic in a gorgeous outdoor venue! This event is free, but donations are welcome. 

Movies at the Meadows || August 1st - 22nd || For $20 per carload of people you can see a movie in the park at Spruce Meadows. Snacks and refreshments available for purchase at this family friendly event!

Milky Way Nights || August 9th - 11th || Check out the Perseid Meteor Shower with some of Canada's best telescopes at the Rothney Observatory for free! Donations are welcome and professional astronomers will be there to help you get the most out of your evening. 

Inglewood Night Market || June 8th - September 18th || Food trucks, vendors, live music and more will all be available at this Market, which is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the fresh air this summer and explore Inglewood. 

Calgary Dragon Boat Race || August 11th - 12th || This annual event is an incredible sight to be behold. Check out the racers as they compete in feats of physical strength unimaginable to most. Inspiring and educational!

Calgary Zoo Adult Night || August 16th || A night of treats and entertainment awaits you! The Zoo writes, "Your $50 ticket gets you a drink ticket, snacks like brisket sliders and loaded baked potatoes, games and a film screening of the 2014 film Guardians of the Galaxy. Additional treats like mini doughnuts, ice cream and cotton candy can purchased and there will be two cash bars."

GlobalFest || August 16th - 25th || This festival draws thousands, so get your tickets now! Experience first hand, up close and personal incredible firework displays from countries across the globe. Enjoy the fresh air, the colour and the drama!
