The fall is an absolutely striking season, filled with deep golds and burgundy’s, crunchy leaves, warm scarves and pumpkins. Although we love warm summer days, fall cannot be matched in beautiful Calgary, Alberta.
The autumn season is fleeting. Here in Calgary it typically lasts from mid-September to mid-October. We are so lucky to get to experience all four seasons here in Calgary, no matter how short some of them may be. Soak them in. Experience them as deeply as you can.

The fall is an extremely popular time for people seeking to rent a space as they start fresh and look for somewhere to settle down for the new school and work year. Are you looking to rent? We have some tips for you!
1). Make a list of non-negotiables and stick to it. Decide before hand what you are willing to spend each month on rent and utilities in order to narrow down your search, only look at places that are pet friendly if that is something you need, if you do not like basement suites, add that to your list, etc! Be flexible, but stick to what you absolutely will not negotiate on and don’t waste your time searching for places that do not fit that criteria.
2). Location is the most important part of whatever space it is you decide to rent.

The forecast is in! The Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB®) reports, “increased sales and easing new listings reduced housing inventories in August. Sales were primarily driven by homes priced below $500,000.” The sale of homes priced under $500,000 kept the market from suffering, even though higher price range homes didn’t experience as much activity.
