American Thanksgiving is this Thursday, and you know what that means... Black Friday, Small Shop Saturday, and Cyber Monday. There are likely more deal days within there, but the bottom line is this: if you're looking for a great deal, now is the time to shop!
While most people go into the Black Friday season with aspirations of checking off every name on their Christmas list, keep in mind that this is also an excellent time to shop for your home! Whether you are seeking professional services like roofing, or new furniture for your living room, deals are to be had.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Appliance Deals: If you have been waiting to replace big appliances in your home such as the laundry, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, etc., now is the time to shop. You can typically find deals of 30% off plus on some of these big ticket items.
- Furniture Deals: Places like IKEA, Amazon, and Wayfair are all going to have huge savings events for Black Friday. Scout out what you're looking for ahead of time so that you're ready to click and collect as soon as the deals hit! And remember: if you're shopping online, wait for Cyber Monday!
- Professional Service Deals: While the discounts may not be as staggering (people need to make an income, after all), professional services also offer great deals this time of the year and headed into December as they seek to get in as much work as possible before the years end! Make sure to sign up for their mailing list to be alerted of deals.
While it can be tempting to do everything you need for your home as soon as you see the need, waiting for times of great deals can make a big impact! Your money will go further, and you'll feel good about getting the best deal possible.
