Hello, Spring!
It is official festival season here in Calgary, Alberta. You know what that means... bring on the food trucks!
Food Trucks are mobile restaurants that serve food out of an old ice cream style truck. There are food trucks for everything these days, from Sushi to Tacos, and Gelato to Cookie Dough. That's right, Cookie Dough. Here are some delicious local Calgary food trucks to hunt down this spring at an event near you:
Family Squeezed Lemonade: "We have re-engineered what lemonade was. These are made to order; fresh fruit and herbs...with a twist! These fresh ingredients are chopped, assembled, and muddled right before your eyes. No artificial flavours or syrups- all natural, and real fruit... At 32 ounces - we hope you can handle it. Empanada Queen: "Empanada Queen is a family owned and operated, casual Latin food truck serving Chilean and Latin influenced dishes. Our feature product is the empanada… not just any empanada, but the queen of all empanadas!
