What To Do in The Mountains in December
Not every activity needs to cost something. Our favourite inexpensive holiday activity? Ordering a warm drink from Timmies and driving around to view the gorgeous Christmas light displays. Check out Confederation Park, Lyons Park, the communities of Mount Royal, Walden and Bowness. You could also explore the lights downtown, both outdoor (such as the Olympic Plaza skating rink tree) and indoor (The Core mall has a gorgeous light display).
Finally, remember that Christmas isn't the only holiday this time of year! Take time to learn about some of the other significant cultural holidays in December, and celebrate with loved ones.
Stay safe, stay warm, and happy holidays!
