Make sure to write these down in your calendar so that you don't forget to make the most out of them. Many of these events cost very little or are completely free, so make sure to support your fellow Calgarians!

Please make note of Remembrance Day on November 11th. There will be ceremonies held around the city for you to join in on. Click HERE to see a full list of Remembrance Day events. If you are going to be out of town, working or otherwise unavailable on Remembrance Day itself, we highly recommend checking out the Remembrance Crosses installation along Memorial Drive.

Now open to the public, this display has a cross for every southern Alberta man or woman who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, protecting our country's freedoms. The organization responsible for this memorial writes, "our mission is to create awareness that our freedom did not come without a price and to honour the sacrifice of those soldiers who for our free tomorrow gave their today."
