It's been a chilly week for Calgary as we experience our annual April snowstorm. With advice to stay at home due to rising COVID-19 cases, more people are going to be settling in with snacks and Netflix this weekend. And, if you're looking for some fun real estate shows to watch, here are some recommendations:
Selling Sunset: "Selling Sunset is an American reality television series on Netflix created by Adam DiVello. The series revolves around the Oppenheim Group, a high-end real estate brokerage firm in Los Angeles, and follows a group of agents as they navigate their personal and professional lives" (Wikipedia). This show has three seasons so far, with another two coming soon! Watch it now to see some incredible homes in LA.
Tidying Up with Marie Kondo: This show is all about keeping your home organized and a place that brings you peace. Screen Rant writes, "In 2019, creator Marie Kondo, a tidying expert and bestselling author, released Tidying Up with Marie Kondo. Marie brings her skills and expertise to the homes of others that need cleanliness and less clutter. It's also a great show to follow if viewers are on a tight budget, or have funds to spend."
Million Dollar Beach Club: If you enjoy seeing inside incredible homes with a side of drama, this show is for you. Decider writes, "Million Dollar Beach House is a new Netflix real estate reality show set in the Hamptons. A group of young movers and shakers in the real estate game are set to sell the biggest, boldest beachfront houses in the Hamptons—and you bet that stirs up a lot of drama."
The World's Most Extraordinary Homes: Screen Rant writes, "the show is a British documentary miniseries presented by Caroline Quentin and Piers Taylor. Caroline is an actress and property developer, and Piers is a sought-after architect. Together, they team up to explore the most wonderful homes all around the world in off-the-beaten-path locations. Each episode of the show is themed, which gives the viewer insight into the location and environment of the home. The World's Most Extraordinary Homes is a treat and extremely binge-worthy; it also might give the viewer a case of wanderlust."
