Cozy basements are the perfect place to retreat to during cold winter evenings. Install warm, soft carpet for your frozen toes or a nice plush rug over existing hardwood flooring. A little space heater can be purchased for under $50 to warm up the space. Making your basement into a little entertainment centre is the perfect addition to your home! Not only can you make it cozy for the winter, but come summertime it will be coolest place in the house to escape the heat.
