When you partner with Team Ken Richter, you can be assured you'll be supported every step of the way.
If some of your anxiety comes from being unsure of if you should stay put or make a move, take a deep breath. This is normal; this is a massive decision to make! We always recommend first meeting with Ken Richter to discuss what you're hoping for. With thirty-plus years of experience helping all types of buyers, sellers, and investors, Ken's expertise is your advantage. He can let you know how realistic your goals are given all sorts of factors, and strategize a game plan.
To get you started with the decision, here are some items to consider when you're contemplating selling or buying:
1). What condition is the market in? If you're not in a rush, it can be worth holding back for now in order to get the most out of the market later. For example, many buyers looking for a home this past spring when the market was so wild waited, and are now reaping the benefits of more options for a more affordable price point.
2). Do you foresee any big life changes in the next five years? Of course not everything can be predicted; but if you're miserable at your job and looking for a change, that could affect your ability to pay a different mortgage. If your children are starting to leave for college, now may be a good time to start looking to downsize. There are lots of factors here.
3). Do you want to make a change? Forget what the media is telling you, or your family and friends, or whatever societal pressures you're feeling. If making a move is the best choice for you, pursue that! If it isn't and you're content as is, there is no need to adjust. Do what is best for you.
