Close your eyes. We want you to imagine a space: a magical place, where your wallet produces unlimited cash, and where contractors and property limitations are non-existent. Imagine an empty building; a space untouched. Now, dream.

What colors do you paint the walls? What kinds of levels do you add? Are there secret passageways and slides coming out every window that all funnel into one beautiful, crystal-clear pool? No? Imagine harder! Dream big!

It’s unreasonable; the first thing you probably thought of was, “that is completely, 100% implausible.” Perhaps that is true—especially if you’re a big dreamer. However, what if we were to tell you that sometimes those “crazy” and “implausible” additions you wish you could have in your home aren’t so crazy…

When buyers initially purchase a home one of the first things they want to do is customize it. They want it to truly feel like their home, rather than a piece of property they pay a mortgage on.

One of the first steps most homeowners take in creating an atmosphere that is truly theirs is painting. Often times, walls are painted to match their favorite color or the furniture. However, what if someone was to suggest that color preferences and furniture compatibility should have absolutely nothing to do with what colors are chosen for painting?

Bathrooms are constantly in need of maintenance because they collect dirt and are exposed to high humidity on a regular basis. Use simple techniques for keeping your bathroom sparkling.

Showers used on a regular basis will promote the accumulation of bacteria and mold. Be sure to clean your shower, tub and shower curtain often. After showering, take a minute to wipe down the tub, faucets and curtain to help remove soap scum and prevent mineral deposits.

To discourage mildew growth in the bathroom, increase the amount of air circulation to decrease moisture. Open the windows, or if your bathroom doesn’t have windows, ensure you have a bathroom exhaust fan that it is in working order.

This will help to remove humid air quickly from the room.
