June 2019 Events

Get ready to kick off summertime this June with some incredible events!

June 7 Inglewood Night Market : Inglewood is one of our favourite picturesque neighbourhoods. Check out their annual night market for great deals, sweet treats, and new local vendors ready to bring you all the goodies you need this summer!
June 15 Calgary's Annual Neighbour Day : This fantastic day was designated by Mayor Nenshi to celebrate the fantastic community efforts that went into helping Calgary recover after the devastating 2013 flood. Use Neighbour Day as your opportunity to serve your community and to celebrate with fellow Calgarians. We live in a wonderful city and are proud to be Calgary strong come hell or high water!
June 19 - 23 Sled Island Music Festival: This music festival rocks Calgary every single year. Make sure to check out their schedule of events where you can be part of intimate concerts with big name artists, local musicians and up-and-comers. Calgary has a thriving music scene; this is your opportunity to get plugged in.
June 22 PodSummit: Do you have a podcast? This quickly growing medium of communication has inspired Calgary's newest edition to the events scene: Podcasting summits! Learn how to create content, produce your podcast, market your message to the world, and network with other local podcasters. You'll walk away more informed and inspired than ever before. Bring your notebook and get ready for a fun weekend!
June 24 Montgomery Monday Market : The Montgomery Community Association is hosting a weekly Monday market that stars June 24th! Check out the local vendors, food trucks, musical performances, kids activities and more. This event is meant to encourage people to meet their Montgomery neighbours and to get outside to enjoy the sunshine this summer.
