May 3 || Calgary International BeerFest || Albertan’s love craft beer; and Beerfest, which has become wildly successful in this city, is a direct representation of that. Sampler tickets are $1 each and will allow you to try any number of the 100+ breweries best ales. Support local brewers like Citizen, Last Best and Zero Issue, but also have the opportunity to try beers from breweries all over the country!

May 5 || Montgomery Community Clean Up || Spring cleaning is not just important for your home; it’s also important for your neighborhood! The summer is the most popular time for people visiting the city and for real estate; make your neighborhood stand out among the rest by joining your community in cleaning it up. Every community will have its own clean up date, but for those of you in or near Montgomery make sure to book off your May 5th to join everyone!

May 8 || Famous 5 Speaker Series || The Famous Five were five Canadian women who fought for women’s suffrage and equality for women in the home, church, schools, politics and more. They are our great foremothers who shaped Canada into what it is today. In recognition of their work and the work current Canadian women are doing to make Canada a more inclusive place, the Famous 5 Speaker Series is happening again on May 8th! Learn, laugh and be inspired.

May 12 || Mother's Day || Don’t forget….

May 20-25 || YYC Comedy Festival || Calgarians love to laugh! Our hilarious city has become an epicenter for rising and established comedians. Join them as they take their acts to you, the people.
