New Inner-City Businesses

With today’s economy many people are shying away from brand new start-ups and business endeavours. However, that hasn’t stopped some from putting it all on the line to bring Calgary a new business. Luckily, their courage has paid off and now Calgary has a great new establishment to enjoy. In today’s post, we will be outlining some of the fantastic new businesses that have come to inner-city YYC. With the weather so nice, now is the perfect time to check out some new favourite spots.

The Beltliner: If you like breakfast and brunch, this is the perfect place for you. They have a wide variety of food and cafe options, from your classic eggs and bacon to new and exciting dishes. Located in the heart of downtown, they are quickly becoming a Calgary hot spot. Check out their website HERE.

Guildhall Home: For those of you who love design and furniture, this new shop in Inglewood is going to be your dream come true. The creators were inspired by the shops of London and have brought smooth, fresh, organic designs to Calgary. If you’re looking to step up your game with your home furniture, check them out HERE.

Greater Goods YYC: Shopping should be a relaxing, beautiful experience. This is exactly what Greater Goods YYC has aimed to do with their new store in Calgary. Filled with products from local small businesses and boasting a delightful tea bar, this is the perfect place for anyone to visit who loves all things lovely. Check out their website HERE

Bowness Tea House: Set to open soon (hopefully) the classic Bowness Tea House is being transformed into a restaurant called “Seasons of Bowness.” Inspired by the River Cafe in Prince’s Island Park, Seasons of Bowness promises to be a “refined picnic experience.” It will also be decorated with old photos and memorabilia from the original Bowness Tea House in memory of Bowness’ contribution to Calgary Parks.
