There are a handful of events happening this month that we are excited to share with you!

First, it's important to take note of November 11th happening next Wednesday. This Remembrance Day is a stat holiday for most Calgarians as per usual, but is going to look different this year. Due to COVID cases rising across the city and new restrictions set in place by Alberta Health Services, ceremonies in memorial to our veterans are going to look different. If you do plan to visit a site in Calgary, we recommend booking a timed ticket in advance wherever possible. You can see a full list of events…

Happy Valentine’s Week, Calgary!

All of us here at Team Ken Richter would like to offer you our sincere thanks and love. You are the reason we have loved serving the City of Calgary all of these years. Calgary has so many wonderful things to offer its residents and visitors that they could never all fit into one list; but we're going to try.

Here are 10 reasons we love YYC:

1). The Location: In real estate we always emphasize location, location, location! So location must be the top reason we love Calgary. Calgary is perfectly nestled between the prairies and the mountains. On a clear day, the views are bare-none.

2). The Amenities! Hiking, skiing, walking, climbing, shopping, eating, drinking; Calgary has it all!

Happy Cinco De Mayo!

This celebratory day is a great way to kick off the beautiful weather we have been having here in Calgary. While many believe Cinco De Mayo to be Mexico’s Independence Day, it actually marks “the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). A relatively minor holiday in Mexico, in the United States Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage, particularly in areas with large Mexican-American populations” (read more about it HERE).

Cinco De Mayo starts May’s celebrations, but here are some more events happening around YYC you definitely will want to check out:
