It is the most exciting time of the year... The Calgary Stampede has announced some of their unique, bizarre, mouth-watering, tasty 2025 midway treats! Here are the ones that we are most looking forward to trying out:

  • Spam-pede Bao: "Inspired by a traditional Hawaiian snack filled with savoury spam, juicy garlic shrimp, sweet pineapple, fresh cucumbers, seaweed and drizzled with teriyaki sauce" (The Calgary Stampede).
  • Apple Cinnamon Crumble Perogies: "Potato and cheddar filled bite sized perogies are dusted with cinnamon sugar, topped with warm apple pie filling and drizzled with a smooth vanilla glaze. Hello, Spring!

It is official festival season here in Calgary, Alberta. You know what that means... bring on the food trucks!

Food Trucks are mobile restaurants that serve food out of an old ice cream style truck. There are food trucks for everything these days, from Sushi to Tacos, and Gelato to Cookie Dough.
