The compost is made from the food and yard waste collected in the Green Cart Program" (City of Calgary). Take advantage of this FREE event that will help your garden flourish! Happy long weekend!


There is nothing quite as glorious as having not one, not two, but three days in a row off! Long weekends feel like the only weekends you get to truly relax, which is why we are planning on making the most of it. They only come around once every month or so, after all! 

Not sure what to do this long weekend? Here are some ideas: 

  • Stock up your DVR by scheduling it to record all of the Olympic events! Since South Korea is in a much different time zone, all the best Olympic action is happening while we're fast asleep. Load up the DVR, pick up all your favorite drinks and snacks and binge-watch away. The bonus? You can fast forward through all of the commentary and get straight to the action. 
  • Spend a day going around…
