The Calgary Real Estate Board's latest market update has been released, and 2023 is already off to a great start! Here are some highlights from the report, which you can read in full by clicking here:

Gone are the days of minimalism, block colours, and sharp edges; it's time to usher in a softer era of warm textiles and heirloom pieces. Cottagecore is the aesthetic of an idealized countryside lifestyle. Does this mean you need to start churning your own butter? No. You do not have to abandon the modern age to embrace this new style. In fact, you do not need to embrace this new style at all! However, if you're feeling trendy or looking for inspiration, here are some of the design elements experts are predicting will make a big splash this year:

The Calgary Real Estate Board had it's annual forecast event where they shared what we can expect from the real estate market in 2023. Here are some of the highlights from their report:

  • "Elevated lending rates are expected to weigh on sales in 2023, bringing levels down from the record high in 2022. However, with forecasted sales of 25,921 in 2023, levels are still expected to be higher than the activity reported before the pandemic" (Calgary Real Estate Board).
  • "Supply levels declined to the lowest levels seen in over a decade as gains in higher price properties did not offset the supply declines occurring in lower-priced homes. This has left our market in a situation where lower-priced properties still face sellers’ market conditions while…

Since then, Bell Let’s Talk has committed more than $139 million to Canadian mental health initiatives.”

Wow! Bell Let’s Talk Day also coincides with Blue Monday, January 16th, which statistically has the…
