We have now been in some form of quarantine and self-isolation for nearly a year. While many of us are still mourning the loss of our old 'normal,' we are now at the point where creative solutions and changes have come about to make sure we get to experience some of what we used to--even if slightly modified.

November 2020 Events

There are a handful of events happening this month that we are excited to share with you!

First, it's important to take note of November 11th happening next Wednesday. This Remembrance Day is a stat holiday for most Calgarians as per usual, but is going to look different this year. Due to COVID cases rising across the city and new restrictions set in place by Alberta Health Services, ceremonies in memorial to our veterans are going to look different. Military sites such as museums and the Memorial Drive feild of crosses will be open to visitors, but large scale ceremonies are being held as virtual events. Happy Stampede - July Events

It's Christmas morning for cowboys and cowgirls everywhere as Stampede officially kicks off! The greatest outdoor show on earth attracts millions to Calgary every single summer and has been a wild hit since its inception in 1912. While some Calgarians roll their eyes as tourists flock to our city, we feel proud to live in a place that hosts such a fantastic event focused on sportsmanship and the wild, wild west.
