The most popular destination to see the fall colours is the mountains, where larch season is underway and autumn is on full display. However, mountain destinations can be packed with locals looking for an escape and tourists coming to stand in awe and wonder. Popular Kananaskis hiking destinations, the towns of Banff and Canmore, and Lake Louise are crowded these days, so skip them! Did you…

This week has been a tumultuous one weather-wise. From hail to tornado warnings, Calgarians everywhere have been hunkering down and taking refuge from the storms. While blue sky has managed to sneak through the gloomy clouds for hours at a time, it remains a terrible tease for what August is typically like here. After all, it’s not only the property that makes a home: it is the community.

Here at Team Ken Richter we have the pleasure of working with communities all over the city. However, we have been fortunate to have the opportunity to work most closely with the communities of Montgomery and Bowness. Both are rich with history.
